"I didn’t trust it after reading the policy stuff"
My first reaction was that OpenSea makes its rules way harder to understand than they need to be. I was trying to figure out what’s actually allowed and what happens if something gets flagged, and the policy pages just felt messy. Support didn’t really clear it up either, just kind of sent me in circles. For a platform where people are spending real money, I’d expect the rules to be obvious before you list or buy anything. Maybe I judged it fast, but it didn’t feel very trustworthy to me...

"Gas fees caught me off guard"
I was just trying to buy a small NFT that seemed reasonably priced, so I figured why not give it a shot. The listed price looked totally fine, but then my wallet popped up with a gas fee that was way higher than I expected.
I get that gas fees aren’t completely OpenSea’s fault, and I’m not trying to blame them for the whole Ethereum network or anything. Still, I feel like they could make the real total a lot clearer before you get that far, because it made me feel like I had wasted my time.
I ended up canceling the purchase because I couldn’t really justify paying that much extra on something small. Maybe experienced users already know to expect it, but for me it was confusing enough that I probably won’t be rushing back.

"The fees killed it for me..."
The fees killed it for me. Every step seemed to add another charge, and it just wasn’t worth it

"Wallet took a few tries to connect"
Not gonna lie, it does work, but getting my wallet connected took a little longer than I expected. Had to try a few times, but once it connected, everything was fine...

"Frustrating and slow for me"
I’ve tried using OpenSea a few times, it just feels clunky to me. The filters keep resetting, pages load in a weird way, and I feel like I have to click around way too much just to find what I’m looking for. Maybe I’m missing something, but from my experience, it’s more annoying than it should be.

"Payment failed and support didn’t really help"
I tried paying with crypto and it just didn’t go through. I reached out to support, but they kept sending the same kind of unhelpful replies, and it never really got sorted. Frustrating experience overall

"I’ve been waiting for days now and..."
I’ve been waiting for days now and still haven’t gotten a real response. It’s frustrating, especially when you just need someone to actually help you out

"Scam protection didn’t protect me at all"
I feel like I was the one left paying the price here. I got scammed, even though I thought the protection was supposed to mean something, and when I reached out to support they barely did anything useful. It felt like nobody really cared once the damage was done, and I was just stuck dealing with it on my own

"The search feature drives me nuts"
I swear, I can’t find anything unless I type the exact name perfectly. It feels like the search just gives up if I’m even slightly off. Anyway, lovely weather today, but yeah, the search is useless.

"Decent overall, but it could feel more steady"
I’ve used OpenSea a handful of times, and when everything loads properly, it does what I need it to do. Browsing collections and checking item pages can be interesting, but there were definitely moments where the site felt slow or a little clunky. A few images didn’t load for me, and I had filters get stuck, which kind of breaks the flow when you’re trying to explore.

It usually works out in the end, so I wouldn’t call it a bad experience. It just feels like a platform this big should be smoother, especially since people are using it to make real decisions and not just casually scroll. For me, it’s one of those tools that gets the job done, but the small frustrations add up. Three stars feels about right.

"Listing and selling was honestly frustrating"
i mean, I tried listing a couple of NFTs and the whole thing was way more confusing than I expected. The fees weren’t really clear, approvals kept popping up, and one of my listings didn’t even show up right away. Selling just felt harder than it needed to be, and support took too long to get back to me. I don’t see myself using it again.

"OpenSea has been okay for me overall..."
OpenSea has been okay for me overall, and I have sold a few pieces there, so I can’t say it’s been a bad experience. But the creator royalties feel hit or miss these days. It used to seem more straightforward, and now I’m not always totally sure what I’m actually going to end up getting.

The payouts have come through, which I appreciate, but between the fees and the royalty changes, it’s not as encouraging for smaller creators like me. I still use it, and it works fine enough, but it doesn’t feel quite as creator-friendly as I was hoping

"The dispute did eventually get sorted out, so..."
The dispute did eventually get sorted out, so I’ll give them that, but wow, it took longer than it should have. I felt like I was basically forced to just sit around and be patient while nothing seemed to move quickly.

"Collection Tools Keep Slowing Me Down"
I’ve been trying to manage my collections, and it’s way more confusing than it needs to be. I’ll think I’ve figured it out, then something doesn’t save right or I end up clicking around in circles for 10 minutes. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but it keeps eating up time I don’t really have, usually while my coffee’s going cold next to me

"I remember the NFT verification feeling a lot..."
I remember the NFT verification feeling a lot more trustworthy before, but this time it didn’t really give me much confidence. Even after being marked verified, it still seemed kind of fake to me.

"I got my NFT, but checkout felt a little clunky"
I bought an NFT and the checkout did work for me in the end, but I wouldn’t call it the smoothest experience. The wallet popups and gas fee steps threw me off a bit, especially since I was trying to figure it out as a first-time buyer. My payment only went through after I refreshed the page, which was kind of annoying. Not a bad experience overall, but I definitely expected it to feel a bit easier.

"Good site, but the bans feel random"
OpenSea is fine for buying and listing NFTs, and when it works, it works smoothly. But the account restrictions are frustrating. My account got limited once and I was kind of rushing to sort it out, but there wasn’t any clear reason given at first. Support eventually got back to me, but it took longer than I expected. I understand they need rules, but it feels way too easy to get flagged. Overall it’s still useful, I just wish they handled bans and limits in a clearer way.

"Still Feels a Bit Sketchy to Use"
I’ve used OpenSea a handful of times. Bought a couple things, browsed around, that sort of thing. The site itself works fine, mostly. But the whole trust and safety part just doesn’t feel strong enough. I kept running into fake-looking collections, random scam links, and moments where I wasn’t totally sure what was actually verified. That’s not a great feeling when crypto and NFTs are involved. Support was slow too, which didn’t help. So yeah, it works, but I never really feel relaxed using it.

"Account security feels kind of sketchy"
I’ve used OpenSea on and off, and the security side still makes me uneasy. The whole login-and-wallet dance can get confusing fast, and sometimes I’m sitting there wondering if a button is actually safe to click or if it’s just another little “trust me bro” moment from NFT Land.
I didn’t lose anything, thankfully, but I definitely had a few weird moments where I wasn’t sure what was going on. For such a big platform, I expected clearer warnings and security help that doesn’t feel like it was written by Captain Vague.

"OpenSea’s mobile site gave me a headache"
I tried using opensea on my phone they really need to fix their mobile site. Pages were loading painfully slow, my wallet kept acting up, and some buttons just wouldn’t respond when I tapped them. I had to keep refreshing over and over just to look at one item, which got old fast. Maybe they’ve put more effort into the desktop version, but on mobile it feels clunky and frustrating. Not really worth the hassle right now.
